A woman who became well-known for being acquitted on 22 counts of child molestation has been given a twice-monthly show on CITADEL Talk WGOW-F (TALK RADIO 102.3, THE TALK MONSTER)/CHATTANOOGA. ABC affiliate WTVC (TV)/CHATTANOOGA reports that TONYA CRAFT will host "THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER WITH TONYA CRAFT" 3-4p every other TUESDAY on the station, beginning SEPTEMBER 7th.
The show takes over the last hour of Councilman ANDRAE MCGARY's midday show, allowing MCGARY to get to City Council meetings on time. CRAFT has no previous radio experience; she is planning to take the LSAT exam in OCTOBER as the first step towards law school.
CRAFT, then an elementary school teacher, was arrested and charged with molesting three girls in 2008, but was acquitted after a five week trial in MAY and is creating a foundation to help others falsely accused.
