Westwood One's Howard Deneroff Was On Now-Infamous JetBlue Flight

WESTWOOD ONE Sports Executive Producer HOWARD DENEROFF was on the JETBLUE flight on which flight attendant STEVEN SLATER made his now-infamous expletive-laden address to the passengers and exit down the emergency chute.
DENEROFF has been interviewed about the incident by CBS RADIO Sports WFAN-A/NEW YORK morning hosts BOOMER ESIASON and CRAIG CARTON, CBS EVENING NEWS reported MICHELLE MILLER, and the NEW YORK DAILY NEWS.
DENEROFF said, "I couldn't see what was going on all that well, but because of my work I am very attuned to voices. Sometimes the audio is all you need. I heard the flight attendant telling a passenger to sit down several times while we were on the runway, that their luggage wouldn't fit in the overhead compartment, and certainly heard his colorful language on the intercom before his departure."
