Checks totaling $53,000 from funds raised by THE BUBBA THE LOVE SPONGE FOUNDATION will be presented by syndicated and satellite radio talk personality BUBBA THE LOVE SPONGE to the widows and families of TAMPA Police Department Patrol Officers DAVID CURTIS and JEFFREY KOCAB, who were killed in the line of duty on JUNE 29, 2010. Each family will receive a check for $26,500.
THE BUBBA THE LOVE SPONGE FOUNDATION is a FLORIDA charity that BUBBA THE LOVE SPONGE CLEM founded in 2008 to help raise awareness and channel donations to worthy community causes and victims.
On JULY 14th, the Foundation presented $45,000 in funds raised for the families of three FLORIDA law enforcement officers who were killed this year in the line of duty in ST. JOHNS COUNTY, DIXIE COUNTY and MIAMI. Previously, more than $50,000 was distributed to the families of four TAMPA BAY area law enforcement members who lost their lives or were critically injured in the line of duty.
