New Jersey 101.5's Casey Barthlomew Raising Funds To Battle Heart Disease In Mother's Memory

MILLENIUM Talk WKXW (NEW JERSEY 101.5)/TRENTON afternoon "JERSEY GUYS" host CASEY BARTHOLOMEW is honoring his mother LINDA, who passed away on AUGUST 7th (NET NEWS 8/11), by raising donations for the AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION's "Go Red For Women" campaign against heart disease.

The family says that Mrs. BARTHOLOMEW had felt back pain but did not realize that the pain was a symptom of arterial blockage and was unaware that she was suffering from heart disease. "The BARTHOLOMEW family is in complete shock over our sudden loss," reads the memorial statement at the AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATIOn website. "We hope this page will serve as a reminder that this can happen to anyone at any time and that it will encourage others to pay attention to their bodies. No one should lose a such a treasure to a disease that is potentially preventable."
