Country Artists Play Concerts For The Gulf Coast

TERRI CLARK, BO BICE, RICKY SKAGGS and LONESTAR are among the artists who are performing free concerts this week at the COAST COLISEUM in BILOXI, MS as part of a TV special saluting the spirit of the GULF COAST.
The show is set to air on THE CW network on AUGUST 27th. “KNIGHT RIDER” and “BAYWATCH” actor DAVID HASSELHOFF will also host and perform at the event, which was taped YESTERDAY (8/16) and continues into TODAY (8/17).
The special is part of a series of initiatives by MISSISSIPPI Governor HALEY BARBOUR to promote tourism in the GULF COAST. Several celebrities will provide testimonials and GULF COAST residents will also give interviews.

In related news, CMT.com is reporting that HANK WILLIAMS JR., GRETCHEN WILSON and LEE BRICE will play a show at the WHARF AMPHITHEATRE in ORANGE BEACH, AL on SEPTEMBER 25th, sponsored by the ALABAMA DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM. The show is part of HANK’s ROWDY FRIENDS 2010 TOUR and aims to further promote tourism at ALABAMA beaches.
