CCMA Taps New Exec. Director

The CANADIAN COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION (CCMA) has announced the appointment of DON GREEN as the new Executive Director of the Association, effective AUGUST 23rd and replacing Interim Director SHEILA HAMILTON.
GREEN is currently the Vice President of Operations of PURETRACKS, a division of SOMERSET ENTERTAINMENT, which is a digital music provider. He has been with PURETRACKS since 2006.
"It’s so exciting to share this news with everyone,” said Chair of the CCMA Board of Directors, JACKIE RAE GREENING. “We really took our time to find the ideal candidate for this role and we’ve certainly found that in DON GREEN. DON has a lot to offer the CCMA with his years of experience in the corporate world in a variety of different roles; we look forward to having him as leader of our growing Association.”
GREEN starts at the CCMA on MONDAY, AUGUST 23rd and will be onsite for COUNTRY MUSIC WEEK EDMONTON, SEPTEMBER 8th-12th.
