Recording artist/songwriter DEBORAH ALLEN, her manager RAYMOND HICKS and video director MARK NICOLOSI were detained by MEMPHIS POLICE and HOMELAND SECURITY officials after unknowingly trespassing in an area heavily protected by HOMELAND SECURITY.
DEBORAH and her crew were out scouting locations in MEMPHIS for the shoot of her video for her new single, “Amazing Graceland,” when they turned onto a service road under the old MEMPHIS ARKANSAS BRIDGE, where officers quickly surrounded them with their weapons drawn.
After a thorough interrogation and search, they were considered not to be a terrorist threat. After playing her song for the officers, ALLEN invited them to attend her SEPTEMBER 10th performance at the BARTLETT, TENNESSEE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER.
Fans can hear “Amazing Graceland,” a tribute to the life and home of ELVIS PRESLEY, on iTUNES and at www.deborahallen.com.
