STUART EPPERSON's TRUTH BROADCASTING CORP. is buying Contemporary Christian WBZK-A (PRAISE 980)/YORK, SC and FM translator W289BO/MARION, SC from 980 AM, INC. for $400,000 plus a Time Brokerage Agreement before closing.
In another FCC filing, THE WOODS GROUP, INC. is selling Gospel WJIG-A/TULLAHOMA, TN to COFFEE COUNTY BROADCASTING, INC. for $300,000.
PACIFIC CASCADE COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION is selling FM translator K261DL/BANDON, OR to JPR FOUNDATION, INC. for $700 ($300 of which is for coaxial cable).
And ALABAMA CHRISTIAN RADIO, INC. is selling the construction permit for WEYY/TALLAPOOSA, GA to THE POWER FOUNDATION for $1 and buying the construction permit for KDNV/WINNEMUCCA, NV from VICTOR BROADCASTING for $1,
HEARTLAND MINISTRIES, INC. has applied for a Silent STA for FM translator W258AV/CAMDEN, TN due to technical problems. The licensee hopes to have the station back on the air by OCTOBER 31st.
CAMERON/ BETHANY LICENSE CO, LLC has applied for a Silent STA for FM translator K279AP/BETHANY, MO after losing authority to rebroadcast its primary station.
And in a new filing, BIRACH BROADCASTING CORPORATION is applying for a new AM on 640 AM in TERRE HAUTE, IN. The station would run 250 watts, nondirectional in the daytime and directional from two towers at night. BIRACH won the rights to the frequency in FCC Auction No. 88.
