Missouri Deals: EMF Sells KRLJ, Goodman Buys KYOO

EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION is selling noncommercial KRLJ/JACKSON, MO to PURE WORD COMMUNICATIONS for $220,000.
In other deals filed with the FCC, STEPHEN and ANNE PARIS' KYOO COMMUNICATIONS is selling Country KYOO-A/BOLIVAR, MO and KYOO-F/HALF WAY, MO to DEAN GOODMAN's GOODMORADIO, LLC for $350,000.
WJEM, INC. is selling WJEM-A/VALDOSTA, GA to SMALLTOWN BROADCASTING, LLC for $190,000.
JAMES FALCON is selling the construction permit for a new FM in GRAPE CREEK, TX to JOHN C CARSEY's CASTLE HOLDINGS, LLC for $30,000.
And THE POSITIVE RADIO NETWORK, INC. is selling the construction permit for noncommercial WFWO/MEDINA, NY to FELLOWSHIPWORLD, INC. for $10,000.
RADIOACTIVE, LLC has asked the FCC for an extension of its Silent STA for WRAX/LAKE ISABELLA, MI. The station went silent, the licensee told the FCC, due to "inadequate long-term staffing and programming resources."
TELESOUTH COMMUNICATIONS, INC. has requested an extension of its Silent STA for WROB-A/WEST POINT, MS due to "poor business conditions" that have not improved since the station went dark on DECEMBER 21st, 2009.
Meanwhile, the WPAZ PRESERVATION ASSOC., a local nonprofit group attempting to raise funds to revive the silent WPAZ-A/POTTSTOWN, PA, has indicated on its FACEBOOK page that "Financial backing has been secured and negotiations are under way with GREAT SCOTT BROADCASTING. All is looking really promising, and we're aiming to have some definite plans in place and signatures on dotted lines by the end of AUGUST. Stay tuned!" The local online SANATOGA POST reports that a message from organizers RICK RODGERS and ROSS LANDY on the group's website said that GREAT SCOTT has "accepted our offer" for the station, which went dark on DECEMBER 10th, 2009.
