GRAND OLE OPRY members ARISTA/NASHVILLE star BRAD PAISLEY and Country icon LITTLE JIMMY DICKENS will participate in a press conference TOMORROW (8/25) at the GRAND OLE OPRY HOUSE in NASHVILLE. The conference will be held as the historic circle of wood from the center of the stage will be returned to its spot after the being refurbished since the flood in MAY. The OPRY house has been closed for repairs since that time.
The circle of oak was moved from the OPRY’s original home at the RYMAN AUDITORIUM in DOWNTOWN NASHVILLE to the GRAND OLE OPRY HOUSE in 1974. It was covered by 47 inches of water during the flood and was the only part of the stage that was saved.
