Universal Music Lobbied To The Tune Of $840,000 In Q2

UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP reported that it spent $840,000 in the second quarter to lobby the federal government. The lobbying was on issues including the proposed performance fee and music piracy, according to a disclosure report.
UMG spent $700,000 in 2009 during Q2, and more than the $810,000 in the first quarter of 2010.
