AC BBC RADIO 2 morning host CHRIS EVANS will start his show a half-hour earlier starting OCTOBER 11th. EVANS, who took over earlier this year from longtime RADIO 2 morning star Sir TERRY WOGAN, will start his show at 6:30a.
Controller BOB SHENNAN said, "CHRIS has proved so popular with listeners that it makes sense to give him a little extra time, even though he'll have to move his alarm clock."
EVANS joked, "Less sleep but no matter -- more music, more fun and more coffee very much required. Oh, and of course, extra yoga and meditation."
