BEST MEDIA, INC. has applied for an extension of its Silent STA for FM translator K217DP/BARKER, TX and a new Silent STA for K217DJ/KEMAH, TX.  On K217DP, the licensee says it has "not completed necessary equipment repairs to allow the station to return to the air" but will "continue to work diligently and will return the station to the air as soon as practicable."  For K217DJ, the licensee says that the primary station for the translator has gone off the air and, in addition, the translator has experienced equipment problems that need to be addressed.

The FCC has also issued Notices of Unlicensed Operation for alleged pirate stations in TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES, NM (TRUTH SPEAK, 96.1 FM); BROOKLYN, NY (ZION PALASHI, 88.7 FM); LOUISVILLE (GORDON MOTOR SPORTS, 87.9 FM); JAMAICA, QUEENS, NY (MICHAEL MARHONE, 88.5 FM); CARLSBAD, NM (RAY MACCABEE/MACCAVEE, 101.9 FM); PORTLAND, OR (ANATOLIY M. GONCHAROV, 1710 AM); and GEORGETOWN, KY (IGLESIA CASA RESTAURACION, several frequencies).
