HORIZON CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP is selling FM translator K233AV/EL PASO DE ROBLES, CA to RADIO BILINGUE, INC. for $25,000. The buyer tells the FCC that it plans to rebroadcast its noncommercial Spanish Variety KHDC (RADIO BILINGUE)/CHUALAR-SANTA CRUZ, CA on the translator.
In addition, PARROTT BROADCASTING has shut down three BIG ISLAND stations, according to BIG ISLAND RADIO NEWS. The company filed with the FCC for debtor-in-possession status in FEBRUARY after filing for voluntary Chapter 11 bankruptcy on JANUARY 7th. The stations include Hawaiian KIPA-A and AC KHBC-F/HILO, HI and Hawaiian KHWI (KONA-FM)/HOLUALOA, HI.
