Longtime CLEVELAND CAVALIERS radio voice JOE TAIT will be out of action until at least JANUARY while he undergoes heart valve replacement. TAIT has been off the air since coming down with pneumonia last week in HOUSTON; tests revealed a narrowing of his aortic valve, necessitating surgery.
MIKE SNYDER, Sports Director of the CAVS' flagship, CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WTAM-A/CLEVELAND, will call the action in TAIT's absence.
