Former KMET/LOS ANGELES iconic air personality JEFF GONZER and legendary record exec JON SCOTT have announced the debut of AllCaliforniaRock.com. The Internet-based radio station is a channel that showcases both the state's musical diversity and heritage and its almost mystical cache, and is already boasting listeners from across the country and around the world.
AllCaliforniaRock.com embraces not just the signature hits of METALLICA, THE BEACH BOYS, JACKSON BROWNE and BUFFALO SPRINGFIELD, but the sounds of SAN FRANCISCO's HAIGHT-ASHBURY, HOLLYWOOD's SUNSET STRIP and SAN DIEGO's GASLIGHT DISTRICT -- and everything in between.
GONZER said, "We have a wildly enthusiastic group of fans," referring to feedback received from JAPAN, GERMANY and HONG KONG, to name a few. "People around the world are re-discovering just how cool CALIFORNIA is, and that's also true of our U.S. audience." SCOTT added, "Our listeners' feedback has a universal theme. If it's CALIFORNIAN, it rocks -- from THE GRATEFUL DEAD, VAN HALEN and LINDA RONSTADT to SUBLIME, BLINK 182 and SILVERSUN PICKUPS."
