Bluebird Cafe Teams With Nashville Public Radio For Weekly Series

NASHVILLE’s famed BLUEBIRD CAFÉ is joining forces with NASHVILLE PUBLIC RADIO (WPLN/NASHVILLE) for a new weekly series called “Live At The BLUEBIRD CAFÉ,” beginning SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 6th.
The hour-long live broadcast will feature four songwriters “in the round,” trading songs and stories throughout the show. Songwriter THOM SCHUYLER, who created the original “in the round” format at the club in 1985, will host the show and will provide its theme song, “16th Avenue.”
The first installment will feature performances from SALLY BARRIS, DON HENRY, TOM KIMMEL and PETER MULVEY. Future “Live At The BLUEBIRD CAFÉ” lineups will be announced soon.
