Vermont Talker Loses Bid For Congress

VERMONT talk radio host PAUL BEAUDRY lost his bid for a seat in Congress in TUESDAY's election, losing to incumbent PETER WELCH (D-VT) by a substantial margin. With 90% of returns in, WELCH led by a 65%-32% margin.
BEAUDRY gave up his "TRUE NORTH RADIO" show on RADIO VERMONT Variety WDEV-A-F-W243AT/WATERBURY, VT and RADIO BROADCASTING SERVICES Sports WRSA-A (ESPN 1420)/ST. ALBANS, VT to run for office.
He told the BURLINGTON FREE PRESS that he is unsure whether he will return to radio.
