Layoffs at Premiere

ALL ACCESS has confirmed that an unspecified number of individuals have been laid off at PREMIERE RADIO NETWORKS, following the elimination of some back-office positions at CLEAR CHANNEL stations nationwide.
A statement from PREMIERE read, "We continuously adjust our organization to keep it nimble, lean and efficient. As we approach the new year, and our goals and objectives for 2011 become clear, we are making some modest reductions to back office staffing at PREMIERE. With investments we have made in systems and integration to operate more efficiently, our work process is now different and a number of functions are no longer part of our back office processes. While it is never easy to release individuals, PREMIERE provides severance for those whose positions are eliminated."
