Consumer Electronic Show Opens Thursday In Las Vegas

Manufacturers of electronic goods are hoping what happens in VEGAS doesn't stay in VEGAS -- but rather becomes a hit with consumers. The INTERNATIONAL CES is produced by the CONSUMER ELECTRONICS ASSOCIATION (CEA), the trade association promoting growth in the consumer technology industry. CEA represents more than 2,000 corporate members involved in the design, development, manufacturing, distribution and integration of consumer electronics products. The show runs JANUARY 6th-9th.

CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO will have a large presence at the 2011 INTERNATIONAL CONSUMER ELECTRONICS SHOW (CES), revealing brand-new partnerships across various technology platforms that highlight two of the Company’s leading offerings -- iHEARTRADIO and TOTAL TRAFFIC NETWORK.
In NOVEMBER 2010, TOYOTA MOTOR SALES U.S.A. announced plans to become the first automotive manufacturer to incorporate iHEARTRADIO in select 2011 Model Year vehicles. This announcement is set to be shown at CES.
TTN will unveil an updated version of its platform that will include new features to help enhance the real-time traffic data service for consumers utilizing the service via broadcast, the Web, wirelessly and through navigation devices.
CLEAR CHANNEL also hints a new automotive aftermarket manufacturer partnership will be revealed at CES.
