Chuck Tweedle Retires From Bonneville
January 4, 2011 at 12:17 PM (PT)
BONNEVILLE/SAN FRANCISCO SVP CHUCK TWEEDLE has announced his retirement plans.
In an email to his collegues and friends, TWEEDLE wrote, "with the onset of 2011, I have retired from BONNEVILLE after a 38 year career. To spend that amount of time with one company is rare -- and I loved every minute of it. Unlike news of most other 'departures' in our business, mine is a pre-planned genuine retirement and I remain on totally amicable terms with what I regard as the best employer (and group of colleagues) in the business, bar none.
"All my bosses have been great -- from the very first in CHICAGO (the long retired CHET REDPATH) to the last (CEO BRUCE REESE). I am particularly grateful to then COO BOB JOHNSON, who encouraged me to remain with the company when our SAN FRANCISCO assets were swapped in early 2007. At that time, my role morphed from an 'operations executive' to a 'corporate staff SVP.' It was a different, but equally great ride. That said, I particularly thank my SAN FRANCISCO team for what they accomplished when I was at the helm for 22 years at KOIT and our other properties."
