CMA Announces New Hires In Strategic Partnerships Department

SHERI WARNKE, VP/ Strategic Partnerships for the CMA (COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION), has announced the hiring of CHRIS EPPERLY, who has been named CMA Dir./Strategic Partnerships. Concurrently, ANGELA MENDENHALL returns to the CMA to serve as CMA Manager of Strategic Partnerships.
"I am thrilled to have CHRIS join and ANGELA re-join CMA as part of the Strategic Partnerships Department," said WARNKE. "These two talented people bring their unique experiences and relationships to CMA, and they will strengthen our efforts to attract brands and companies to the Country music format."
In the newly-created position of CMA Dir./Strategic Partnerships, EPPERLY will promote the Country format to new companies and brands across the nation, develop new marketing and promotional resources, and spearhead the development of corporate solutions and opportunities for our partners. He comes to the CMA from MIRRUS, Inc of CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA, where he was VP/Brand Manager.
Returning full-time to CMA, MENDENHALL will develop and maintain strategic partnerships for all CMA assets, including CMA Music Festival, CMA Awards, CMA Songwriter Series, and more. She joined the CMA in 2005 as Regional Partnership Manager, and was promoted to National Partnership Manager a year later. During a reorganization of the department, she became an independent contractor for CMA in 2009.
