Braude And Eagan Add Hour At WTKK

There's no more DON IMUS and more JIM BRAUDE and MARGERY EAGAN starting THURSDAY (1/13) at GREATER MEDIA Talk WTKK (96.9 BOSTON TALKS)/BOSTON, as BRAUDE and EAGAN add an hour to run 6-10a (ET) weekdays. The show presently starts at 7a, with IMUS' CITADEL MEDIA show airing 5-7a. The move and an extra hour of the overnight PHIL HENDRIE show mean IMUS gets squeezed off the WTKK schedule.
"We're excited and 'up' for the challenge of providing our special audience another hour of compelling, live and local talk on 96.9," said EAGAN, adding, "I want to thank my co-host JIM BRAUDE in advance for his earlier wake-up call."
"I couldn't be happier about waking up earlier with MARGERY and talking about the stuff that matters most to people in BOSTON and NEW ENGLAND," said BRAUDE. "I thank our listeners for getting into the conversation."
"JIM BRAUDE and MARGERY EAGAN are one of the premier morning talk shows in BOSTON today," said PD GRACE BLAZER. "They are the real deal and their smart, lively, and witty program is in big demand by both listeners and advertisers. Both JIM and MARGERY are deeply rooted in BOSTON and their popular morning show will continue to become part of the fabric of our community."
