Steve Jobs Taking New Medical Leave From Apple

THE NEW YORK TIMES is reporting APPLE Co-Founder/CEO STEVE JOBS "told his staff on MONDAY that he was taking a medical leave of absence, a year-and-a-half after his return from a liver transplant."
"At my request, the board of directors has granted me a medical leave of absence so I can focus on my health," he said in a statement to the APPLE staff released by the company. "I will continue as CEO and be involved in major strategic decisions for the company."
