Director Of Films That May Have Influenced Tucson Shooter To Appear With Harrison On KPFK
January 18, 2011 at 4:40 AM (PT)
A director whose films were listed as favorites by TUCSON shooter JARED LEE LOUGHNER will appear on CARY HARRISON's show on PACIFICA Variety KPFK/LOS ANGELES WEDNESDAY (1/18).
PETER JOSEPH's controversial conspiracy-theory "ZEITGEIST" films were cited by LOUGHNER's friend ZACH OSLER as an "obsession" of LOUGHNER, which assert that Christianity is a myth and the U.S. orchestrated the 9/11 attacks, and other conspiracy theories. HARRISON says that JOSEPH will talk about his films and the allegations that it influenced the shooter, and the show will also look at the "sedition-like movement" related to the films' theories.
The show will air 3-4p (PT) and will stream live at goharrison.com.
