Sony Launches Another iTunes Rival

The latest iTUNES competitor is coming from SONY, which is launching its own music streaming service in the U.S. "MUSIC UNLIMITED POWERED BY QRIOCITY," was unveiled last SEPTEMBER in the U.K., followed by startups in IRELAND in DECEMBER and most recently this past weekend in FRANCE, GERMANY, ITALY and SPAIN.
"We took a long time looking at music before jumping in," said SONY NETWORK ENTERTAINMENT CEO TIM SCHAAFF at the MIDEM conference in CANNES, FRANCE this weekend.
MUSIC UNLIMITED POWERED BY QRIOCITY will be available on SONY PLAYSTATION 3, Blu-ray Disc player, BRAVIA TVs, personal computers and will be on smartphones using GOOGLE's ANDROID operating system.
