ROXSTARZ Dir./Business Development/Partner SHAWN PENNINGTON and Dir. Sales/Partner ANDREW FISHBONE welcome music industry and radio veteran JAY McCARTHY to the team as Dir. Marketing/Partner. 

ROXSTARZ, a private air charter brokerage firm catering to the music, movie and sports industries, launched last month and specializes in educating clients about the various affordable air charter options available, negotiating the lowest rates amongst multiple carriers, and handling all the logistics.

PENNINGTON said: “JAY and I have been friends quite a long time and we’ve always known that we’d eventually work together, though I can honestly say neither of us ever expected it to be in this arena. Prior to joining ROXSTARZ, McCARTHY previously worked for RED LIGHT MANAGEMENT/NASHVILLE and also launched his own marketing and branding development firm in early 2008, called SAGE3. 

In radio, he has served as PD at CBS RADIO Country KMLE/PHOENIX, and before that was programming CLEAR CHANNEL Country WQIK and WROO/JACKSONVILLE, FL. JAY has also programmed CLEAR CHANNEL Country WWYZ/HARTFORD and once served as a consultant at PANDORA, assisting with Playlist Development Algorithm.
