S.F. Politician Calls For Limbaugh Boycott

CALIFORNIA State Senator LELAND YEE (D-SAN FRANCISCO-SAN MATEO), a candidate for Mayor of SAN FRANCISCO, is calling for an advertiser boycott of PREMIERE RADIO NETWORKS' RUSH LIMBAUGH to protest LIMBAUGH's use of parody fake-Chinese gibberish in a segment about Chinese President HU JINTAO's appearance at a WHITE HOUSE press conference.
LIMBAUGH used the stereotypical nonsense words in illustrating an incident regarding whether President HU was being simultaneously translated for President OBAMA, and some Chinese community activists took offense.
YEE told the SAN MATEO COUNTY TIMES that LIMBAUGH's JANUARY 19th segment "mocked the Chinese language and culture" and said he has asked civil rights organizations to condemn LIMBAUGH and has had his staff compile a list of advertisers in order to use community groups to pressure LIMBAUGH. YEE has also released a copy of a fax he allegedly received from a LIMBAUGH fan containing racist threats aimed at YEE and Pres. OBAMA.
ABC posted the audio of LIMBAUGH's segment here.
