Taylor Swift Celebrates Her Success In Nashville

BIG MACHINE RECORDS star TAYLOR SWIFT partied on FRIDAY (1/28) with family, friends, band mates and members of the music industry to celebrate her many career accomplishments related to sales, digital sales and radio awards. The party was held at NASHVILLE’s HARD ROCK CAFÉ and was called "Heavy Metal at the HARD ROCK."
Among the awards presented were several for the number one success of her "Mine" single and video and a plaque from the RECORDING INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA (RIAA) commemorating total shipments of more than 13 million records. TAYLOR’s one million debut sales week for her album “Speak Now” was commemorated as well as her accomplishment of being the highest selling artist of 2010.
President/CEO of BIG MACHINE RECORDS SCOTT BORCHETTA spoke and plaques were delivered by representatives of BMI, SONY/ATV MUSIC PUBLISHING, COUNTRY AIRCHECK, MUSIC ROW, COUNTRY RADIO BROADCASTERS, THE COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION, UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP DISTRIBUTION, NIELSEN SOUNDSCAN and CMT.
Next up for TAYLOR, she will play 90 shows in 19 countries during her “Speak Now 2011 World Tour” which kicks off FEBRUARY 9th in SINGAPORE.
