Salem's Hugh Hewitt On 'Fox And Friends' Wednesday

SALEM RADIO NETWORK host HUGH HEWITT will be appearing WEDNESDAY morning at 6:30a (ET) on FOX NEWS CHANNEL's "FOX AND FRIENDS."  HEWITT will be making the appearance to promote his campaign to keep all intended candidates for the Republican nomination for President in 2012 from participating in debates sponsored by NBC NEWS and the POLITICO newspaper and website.
 
"POLITICO has a viewpoint," said HEWITT, "but NBC NEWS should not be allowed to host or control any GOP debate because of its increasingly left-leaning coverage in recent years."  HEWITT named MSNBC hosts CHRIS MATTHEWS and RACHEL MADDOW and former "COUNTDOWN" host KEITH OLBERMANN as examples of parent NBC's political viewpoint; he added that debates should begin much later in the year and should feature moderators who are not overtly hostile to the GOP and who reflect conservative values.
