ANDERSON DESIGN GROUP has presented the COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION (CMA) with a new poster for the SPIRIT OF NASHVILLE collection, capturing the spirit of the CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL. The poster was unveiled last night (2/1) at the KEEP THE MUSIC PLAYING ALL STARS CONCERT at the SCHERMERHORN SYMPHONY CENTER in NASHVILLE, hosted by CAPITOL/NASHVILLE’s LUKE BRYAN.
The poster, created by staff illustrator ANDY GREGG and ANDERSON DESIGN GROUP founder JOEL ANDERSON, features a silhouette of a Country star bathed in a bright spotlight, kneeling on the edge of the stage, reaching out to touch a cheering fan’s outstretched hand. A crowd of fans and flashbulbs surrounds the stage, but the focal point is the personal connection being made between the artist and the fan.
The poster was autographed by BRYAN and will be signed by other artists to be auctioned off later this year at a benefit for the CMA’s KEEP THE MUSIC PLAYING program, which keeps music programs in METRO NASHVILLE PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
CMA CEO STEVE MOORE said: "What a terrific way to generate interest in NASHVILLE's signature music event and garner additional funds to support a cause we all believe in. We will be inviting artists to add their name to LUKE's creating a one-of-a-kind treasure for a lucky fan."
Half of the proceeds from the CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL are donated to KEEP THE MUSIC PLAYING. To date, more than $4.7 million has been contributed to the program. For more info, visit www.cmaworld.com.
