COUNTRY RADIO BROADCASTERS, INC. (CRB) has announced the opening of the CONNECTIONS BAR and networking venue for COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR registrants at CRS 2011, to be held MARCH 2nd-4th, 2011.
The CONNECTIONS BAR is open to CRS attendees with valid CRS 2011 registration badges only. It will be located in the downtown NASHVILLE RENAISSANCE HOTEL near the pedway leading to the CONVENTION CENTER, providing a place for seminar attendees to relax and network with other professionals in the Country radio industry.
CRB Exec. Dir. BILL MAYNE said: “The debut of CONNECTIONS is a dream come true as an alternative, exclusive location for our attendees to meet, network, relax and be with friends, all in the convenience of the RENAISSANCE hotel. This is the culmination of a lot of work and vision over the past year, and the early reaction to this move has been very positive.”
The bar is being co-sponsored by GAC and CITADEL MEDIA and will be open from 4p-2a (CT) each day during CRS 2011. A ribbon cutting ceremony officially opens the venue at 4p (CT) on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 2nd.
CITADEL MEDIA VP/Programming & Distribution BRYAN SWITZER said: “I can’t tell you how excited CITADEL MEDIA is to be a co-sponsor of the new CONNECTIONS lounge at CRS this year. Having been a part of many of the changes to CRS through the years, I applaud the CRB for continuing to create new and diverse ways for participants to interact and conduct business, as well as an opportunity to reconnect with old friends. I’ve no doubt CONNECTIONS is going to be huge success, and we’re proud to be part of its introduction at CRS 2011!”
