Arbitron Adds Additional Year To Pres./CEO William T. Kerr's Contract

ARBITRON has inked President/CEO WILLIAM T. KERR to a one-year extension, bringing his term through JANUARY 10th, 2013.
"In the past year, BILL has led ARBITRON through extraordinary events. Thanks to his guidance and to the hard work of the people at ARBITRON, the Company is now better positioned to enhance the competitiveness of its radio ratings services, to enter new markets and deploy its resources for long-term growth," said Chairman PHILIP GUARASCIO. "To help fulfill the potential of the Company and of the senior management team he has helped to shape, the Board has asked BILL to continue to serve as ARBITRON's CEO for an additional year."
KERR was named President/CEO in JANUARY 2010, replacing MICHAEL P. SKARZYNSKI. KERR served on ARBITRON's Board of Directors before taking over as President/CEO and previously served as Chairman, COO and CEO of MEREDITH CORP.
