MILLENNIUM RADIO GROUP Country WPUR (CAT COUNTRY)/ATLANTIC CITY will host its 12th Annual COUNTRY CARES FOR ST. JUDE KIDS RADIOTHON on FEBRUARY 24th and 25th at the HAMILTON MALL in MAYS LANDING. All proceeds go to raise money for ST. JUDE CHILDREN’S RESEARCH HOSPITAL in MEMPHIS.
WPUR will broadcast live from the mall during the two-day event. The event will feature music, activities and entertainment, appeals by ST. JUDE patients, parents and staff and celebrity endorsements from music entertainers. WPUR staff and volunteers will collect funds through pledges called into the phone bank, donations from mall shoppers, a silent auction with autographed items and donations to win with the CAT COUNTRY Prize Wheel.
“The support of CAT COUNTRY 107.3 and its listeners is essential to helping us continue our work of finding cures and saving children,” said BETH DESAI, Associate Dir. at ST. JUDE CHILDREN’S RESEARCH HOSPITAL. “The COUNTRY CARES FOR ST. JUDE KIDS RADIOTHON is so important in helping raise awareness and critical fund-raising dollars that ultimately enable us to provide the top care and treatment to our patients.”
