Power 106 All Stars Play At NBA All-Star Jam Session

EMMIS Top 40/Rhythmic KPWR (POWER 106)/LOS ANGELES' POWER 106 ALL-STARS basketball team got to play a celebrity basketball team MONDAY (2/21) at the NBA ALL-STAR JAM SESSION. POWER 106’s BIG BOY IN THE MORNING and AMERICA’S GOT TALENT host NICK CANNON coached and provided play-by-play. THE POWER 106 ALL-STARS won 79-69.

Celebrity players included BABY BASH, PAUL WALL, ASHER ROTH, THE NEW BOYZ, JEREMIH, THE GO-GETTAZ, SCOOTER and PAC DIV.

THE POWER 106 ALL STARS and celebrity guests donate their time to play basketball with area high school teams and their faculty twice a week. Schools sell tickets to their games and keep 100% of the proceeds. THE POWER 106 ALL STARS have helped area high schools raise over $300,000 in 2010.
