JARAD BROADCASTING COMPANY OF HAMPTON BAYS, LLC is selling WLIR-F/HAMPTON BAYS, LONG ISLAND, NY to LIVINGSTONE BROADCASTING, INC. for $650,000. The station presently simulcasts ESPN Sports WEPN-A (1050 ESPN)/NEW YORK.
In other FCC filings, EMMIS COMMUNICATIONS subsidiary EMMIS AUSTIN RADIO BROADCASTING COMPANY, L.P. is swapping FM translator K288FJ/BASTROP, TX and $90,000 cash to JEANNE NAKAMA (formerly JEANNE AULTFATHER) in exchange for K274BB/SMITHVILLE, TX.
FIRST BROADCASTING CAPITAL PARTNERS, LLC is selling AC KBDB-F (LITE 96.7) and Silent KBIS-A/FORKS, WA to XANA HD SOLUTIONS, LLC for an undisclosed price.
ELTON G. and BONNIE L. WELKE are selling their 25% and 26% shares, respectively, of NORTH WAVE COMMUNICATIONS, INC., licensee of Country-Talk KVAK-A and AC-Classic Rock KVAK-F/VALDEZ, AK, to partners JOSEPH G. and LAURIE L. PRAX for $140,000.
DIGITAL RADIO BROADCASTING, INC. is selling WMJQ/MILFORD, PA to JULI WILLIAMSON for $1.
RANDOLPH N. OSHEROW, bankruptcy trustee for J&J FRITZ MEDIA, has applied to take control of the licenses of J&J FRITZ's FREDERICKSBURG, TX cluster, including Country KNAF-F (THE DEUCE) and Country KNAF-A/FREDERICKSBURG, and Triple A KFAN/JOHNSON CITY-KEEP/BANDERA (TEXAS REBEL RADIO, THE FAN). J&J FRITZ has been operating the stations as debtor-in-possession.
Requesting Silent STAs were CHEYENNE MOUNTAIN PUBLIC BROADCAST HOUSE, INC. (K208DP/NATHROP, CO) and HENSON MEDIA OF HENDERSON COUNTY, LLC (W219CF/MADISONVILLE, KY).
ENTERCOM has closed on the purchase of CLEAR CHANNEL spinoff Classic Rock KUFX (98.5 KFOX)/SAN JOSE and its boosters in SANTA CRUZ, MORGAN HILL and PLEASANTON from the ALOHA STATION TRUST for $9 million. In addition, the ALOHA STATION TRUST's sale of Alternative KSJO/SAN JOSE to PRINCIPLE BROADCASTING subsidiary UNIVERSAL MEDIA ACCESS-KSJO-FM for $9.25 million has also closed. MEDIA VENTURE PARTNERS represented the ALOHA STATION TRUST in both deals.
And SALEM has closed on the sale of brokered Korean-Vietnamese KXMX-A/ANAHEIM, CA-LOS ANGELES to KOREAN GOSPEL BROADCASTING NETWORK for $12 million. MARK JORGENSON of JORGENSON BROADCAST BROKERAGE represented SALEM and served as sole broker for the deal.
