Nine radio and TV figures will indicted into the DAYTON AREA BROADCASTERS HALL OF FAME; the official induction ceremony will be held later this year.
The Hall of Fame class of 2011 includes STEVE BAKER, JIM BALDRIDGE, BUCKS BRAUN, BARRY HOBART, SHARON HOWARD, STEVE KERRIGAN, CISSY CLEMMONS-LOVETT, JUDGE WALTER RICE and NANCY WILSON. Plus, two special awards will be given out -- one posthumously to "local columnist, humorist and frequent local radio guest" ERMA BOMBECK ... and the other to "former WING Radio staffer NANCY CARTWRIGHT," whose voice has since become world-famous as LISA SIMPSON from THE SIMPSONS.
