It's A Busy Day At CRS 2011

More than 2,000 Country programmers and music industry executives are in NASHVILLE, as MUSIC CITY is set for the first full day of CRS (COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR) 2011. The convention happens at the NASHVILLE CONVENTION CENTER, running through FRIDAY, MARCH 4th.
9:30-11a Keynote with KEN LOWE. CARRIE UNDERWOOD will sing the National anthem to kick off CRS 2011. CRS 2011 Keynote Speaker, SCRIPPS NETWORKS INTERACTIVE CEO KEN LOWE will follow. He promotes innovation, interaction, and accountability in media among hot-button issues.
11-11:30a TOM RIVERS AWARD, ARTIST HUMANITARIAN AWARD, and RADIO HUMANITARIAN AWARD. MARY QUASS with NRG MEDIA is the 2011 TOM RIVERS AWARD recipient. President MIKE CULOTTA will present the CRS RADIO HUMANITARIAN AWARDS, followed by the ARTIST HUMANITARIAN AWARD.
11:30a-Noon The Digital Life: Doing Business In An Increasingly Digital World. Media and technology expert SHELLY PALMER will present the latest info on what consumers are doing in terms of using techno gadgets, websites, mobile devices as well as look at media consumption trends.
