The Stars Come Out For Sony Music Nashville's 25th Annual CRS Boat Show

SONY MUSIC NASHVILLE hosted its 25th annual BOAT SHOW on the GENERAL JACKSON during COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR, which set sail on the CUMBERLAND RIVER last night (3/3) from NASHVILLE’s OPRYLAND HOTEL.
“Country Strong” actress GWYNETH PALTROW hosted the night’s festivities, which included performances by her and CURB/NASHVILLE artist TIM McGRAW on their new single, “Me & Tennessee,” as well as the OSCAR-nominated song “Coming Home,” from the “Country Strong” soundtrack.
Also on the bill last night performing two songs each were SARA EVANS, JERROD NIEMANN, JAKE OWEN, BRAD PAISLEY, JOSH THOMPSON, CARRIE UNDERWOOD and CHRIS YOUNG, as well as SONY newcomers BRENT ANDERSON, BRADLEY GASKIN, CASEY JAMES and THE LUNABELLES.
Other highlights of the night included another special guest, Country supergroup ALABAMA, who joined PAISLEY to sing “Old Alabama” (from PAISLEY’s upcoming album, “This Is Country Music”), before rolling into the band’s “Tennessee River” and an encore performance of the ALABAMA classic “Lady Down on Love.”
Special presentations were made to CARRIE UNDERWOOD and CHRIS YOUNG. CARRIE received a plaque in recognition of the DOUBLE PLATINUM certification of her “Play On” album. CHRIS was given a plaque recognizing his last three consecutive #1 singles.
