AMERICA'S RADIO NEWS NETWORK continues to grow with the addition of a third three-hour block of all-News programming. Like the second block, the launch of the 6-9p (ET) block is being accelerated due to strong demand; the new segment will kick off MAY 9th, giving TALK RADIO NETWORK SYNDICATIONS 9 hours of ARNN live news programming from noon to 9p (ET), and, with TRN and the WASHINGTON TIMES' "AMERICA'S MORNING NEWS" block, TRN will be offering 12 hours of daily live long-form news programming, with 15 hours per weekday the goal for later this year.
"We cover 10 to 12 stories with four to six audio actualities each quarter hour -- the perfect PPM solution for an A.D.D. world," said ARNN and TRN CEO MARK MASTERS. "Stations love the long-form news product so much they are asking for more of it sooner -- we are frankly stunned by the demand!"
The initial block, noon-3p (ET), launched earlier this year. The 3-6p block is scheduled for a MARCH 28th launch.
