Nashville Singer/Songwriter Todd Cerney Passes Away At Age 57

NASHVILLE singer/songwriter TODD CERNEY passed away TODAY (3/14) at the age of 57, following a four-month battle with melanoma, according to THE BOOT blog. CERNEY is known for writing songs like RESTLESS HEART’s “I'll Still Be Loving You' and STEVE HOLY’s “Good Morning, Beautiful.” His credits also include cuts by LOVERBOY, ARETHA FRANKLIN, EDDIE MONEY, BAD ENGLISH and CHEAP TRICK.
RESTLESS HEART, HOLY, TY HERNDON, BO BICE and JEFF BATES were among the artists who performed at a benefit for CERNEY on FEBRUARY 28th at the RED ROOSTER BAR & MUSIC HALL in NASHVILLE. CERNEY’s last performance was on FEBRUARY 11th in NASHVILLE.
