Classical BBC RADIO 3 is set to air a production on SUNDAY of EMILY BRONTE's "WUTHERING HEIGHTS" that will include swearing. The update is the work of playwright JONATHAN HOLLOWAY, who told the BBC he wants to "shift the production to left field" and "capture the shock" of the original.
BRONTE PARSONAGE MUSEUM Director ANDREW MCCARTHY told the BBC that swear words in the original text of the classic novel had been deleted as "too strong."
