KIRO's Ron & Don Launch 'Airlift Japan'

BONNEVILLE Talk KIRO/SEATTLE afternoon duo RON UPSHAW and DON O’NEILL have launched RON AND DON’s Operation: Airlift JAPAN, a local campaign to aid 63 orphans in need of basic supplies in earthquake ravaged JAPAN.

After learning about the orphanage in an on-air conversation with former area resident GEMINI SANFORD, whose family is currently stationed with the US NAVY in JAPAN, RON and DON pledged to support the 35 boys and 28 girls in MISAWA, JAPAN.

The community is encouraged to donate food and clothing to one of four locations by SUNDAY, APRIL 3rd:

"You can’t help everyone, everywhere, but you can help someone, somewhere,” explained RON UPSHAW. "Our someone is 63 orphans, and our somewhere is MISAWA, JAPAN,"
