Brooke Meris Takes APD/MD Duties For KILT

BROOKE MERIS has been announced as the new APD/MD at CBS RADIO Country KILT/HOUSTON, with her first day set at APRIL 6th. Interim APD/MD ROWDY YATES relinquishes those duties to BROOKE and YATES remains in PM drive. GREG FREY, who last held the MD position, exited in OCTOBER and is now a Country Format Captain for CUMULUS.

MERIS, who will also handle nights, was most recently at PAMAL Top 40 WZRT/RUTLAND, VT (NET NEWS 3/23).

KILT PD MARK ADAMS said: “BROOKE has been a program director and a music director, has multi format experience including Country, is a talented on-air personality, and perhaps most importantly originally hails from AUSTIN. As I’m in no danger of being mistake for a native TEXAN anytime soon, I’m confident she’ll be a valuable addition to our team on KILT.”

KILT’s lineup is now FOLEY & THUNDER in the mornings, ERIN AUSTIN for middays, YATES in afternoons and BROOKE for nights.
