LISTENER DRIVEN RADIO has picked up seven new major-market affiliates, including Classic Rock KLOS/LOS ANGELES; Hot ACs KSTP/MINNEAPOLIS and KIMN (MIX 100)/DENVER; Urban AC WDAS/PHILADELPHIA; Alternative WRFF (RADIO 104.5)/PHILADELPHIA; Modern AC KCKC (ALICE 102)/KANSAS CITY; and newly launched AC CKEA (LITE 95-7)/EDMONTON.
LISTENER DRIVEN RADIO's affiliate count is now over 70 radio stations around the world.
Each of the new affiliates will use the LDR.1 platform and brand it their way. For instance, KLOS is using LDR.1 to power lunchtime and workday features; KS95 is branding LDR.1 as "You Pick It, We Play It," and invites listeners to pick the "rewind" song every hour during the workday; WDAS and MIX 100 are also both using LDR.1 to drive at-work time spent listening; while WRFF will use LDR for a nighttime feature called Majority Rules. Listeners will vote for songs that play each hour on the station's night show.
"We’ve seen tremendous growth for our products this year and it’s a tribute to the work of everyone on our team," LDR Pres. DANIEL ANSTANDIG said. "We’re proud to welcome these marquees stations from CITADEL, HUBBARD, CLEAR CHANNEL, WILKS BROADCASTING and HARVARD BROADCASTING to our LDR family and look forward to helping them serve their listeners."
