PEAK BROADCASTING will once again co-sponsor the BOISE MUSIC FESTIVAL, to be held at ANN MORRISON PARK in downtown BOISE on SATURDAY, JULY 23rd, from 9a-9p. Thirty local bands will perform on venues throughout the park, leading up to national acts such as SUGAR RAY, MC HAMMER, JOAN JETT AND THE BLACKHEARTS, HE IS WE, ROCK MAFIA and ANDY GRAMMAR,
"A year ago we re-invented a festival that we hoped would fill a void that was left when the BOISE RIVER FESTIVAL ceased operating in 2002," PEAK BROADCASTING SVP KEVIN GODWIN stated. "Last year’s BOISE MUSIC FESTIVAL turned out to be very successful in doing that, and we are proud to be able to continue Boise’s tradition of an outdoor summer music festival."
Last year's crows numbered in the neighborhood of 70,000, as reported here.
