CBS RADIO Country KILT/HOUSTON long time afternoon personality ROWDY YATES (aka JOSH HOLSTEAD), is leaving the station after 16 years to re-locate to TULSA. YATES’ wife KIM has recently transferred to TULSA for her job and ROWDY tells ALL ACCESS that he’ll be there in two weeks. His last shift at KILT is on FRIDAY, APRIL 22nd.
YATES will continue to host the syndicated “Country Gold” program for WESTWOOD ONE and is looking for his next opportunity upon arrival in TULSA. He is the former PD/afternoon host at CLEAR CHANNEL Country KTST/TULSA, having worked there 17 years ago. "I am really going to miss HOUSTON, and my family at KILT,” said YATES. Contact him at email@example.com.
Taking over for YATES on afternoons is former KILT middayer STEVE RIXX. He starts APRIL 25th.
