Grupo Radio Centro Revenue Rises, Botton Line Losses Shrink

GRUPO RADIO CENTRO announced its 1Q 2011 results, which saw broadcasting revenue rising 13.5% to Ps. 188,766,000. This increase was mainly attributable to higher advertising expenditures by the Company's clients in MEXICO during the first quarter 2011 compared to the same period 2010.
The Company's broadcasting expenses totaled Ps. 170,656,000, a 6.1% increase compared to 1Q 2010. while broadcasting income in 1Q was Ps. 18,110,000, a 229.4% increase.
After incorporating a variety of expenses and ifnancial costs to the bottom line and Grupo Radio Centro eported a loss before income taxes in the 1Q 2011 of Ps. 11,059,000, compared to loss before income taxes of Ps. 25,239,000 reported exactly one year ago. The Company's net loss was Ps. 17,296,000, compared to net loss of Ps. 27,597,000 in Q1 2010.
