FCC Asks For Comments On Public File Requirement
April 20, 2011 at 4:19 AM (PT)
The FCC has quietly issued a notice in the Federal Register asking for comments on whether the longstanding public file requirements in its rules are "necessary for the proper performance of the functions of the Commission" and soliciting ideas on how to "enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information collected ... ways to minimize the burden of the collection of information on the respondents, including the use of automated collection techniques or other forms of information technology, and ways to further reduce the information collection burden on small business concerns with fewer than 25 employees."
Comments are due JUNE 17th. See the full notice by clicking here.
