Congrats to BNA RECORDS/NASHVILLE artist KENNY CHESNEY, who scores his 22nd #1 Country Single, as “Live A Little,” from the album “Hemingway’s Whiskey,” sits atop the MEDIABASE Country Chart today (4/25).
CHESNEY, selling tickets like crazy on his “Goin' Coastal” Tour, 850,000 already, sold out his third night at the RED ROCKS AMPHITHEATRE in COLORADO on FRIDAY, APRIL 22nd, in a brisk 10 minutes.
“I’m going to keep reminding people through music that you’ve got to love life, and you’ve got to live it, and you can’t work all the time,” said CHESNEY. “And I look at myself in the mirror and say that every single day. And I hope to think I’m getting a little better at it. You've got to ‘Live A Little.’”
Congrats also to SONY MUSIC NASHVILLE on having the Top-4 Country Singles this week on the MEDIABASE Country Singles Chart. At #2 behind CHESNEY is COLUMBIA artist MIRANDA LAMBERT's "Heart Like Mine," RCA's SARA EVANS is at #3 with her hit "A Little Bit Stronger," and at #4 is ARISTA artist JERROD NIEMANN and "What Do You Want."
